My name is Ferenc (alias Frank). I am a linguist, one of the crowd defined
by Noah Chomsky somewhere as „the other type of linguists” (meaning him as
being the first type). He gives an example of the other type as a desk clerk,
speaking more than one language. This description fits me well as I speak
Hungarian, my mother tongue, and English as a second language. But I do not
speak in tongues. So I hope that whatever I write below will be understood
without the need to consult any heavenly or alien language dictionary. I do
hope so despite the fact that my writings will be focused on the topic or
the subject matter of a new upper ontology or ontology language. In fact, my
objective with publishing this blog is to show how such an ontology may
serve the integration of domain ontologies that are transparent only to the
specialists within each domain. A very ambitious program of a very
persevering man, I admit. Nevertheless, please join me, if you want to see
how far we can get – thinking together.
